About Artist Showcase
Artist Showcase is a community art exhibit celebrating artists in St. Louis Park and Golden Valley, and building connections between local artists and our communities. We encourage all artists and creatives who live, work or study in St. Louis Park or Golden Valley to participate.
We encourage all artists and creatives of all ages who live, work or study in St. Louis Park or Golden Valley to submit work for the Artist Showcase.
The Artist Showcase '22 exhibition opens to the public on January 14th with a gala opening night featuring art, music, film, food and much more! Work submission was online, and was open September 24 thru October 31, 2021. Artists were notified of selection November 19th.
Any one (1) person, youth or adult, may submit up to three (3) works of 2D, 3D, and/or recorded work (video). All 2D work must be ready-to-hang from a single wall hook. Hanging hardware is NOT provided. Video work can include short films, music performances, poetry reading, dance performances, or other work recorded on video.
Our goal is to display work from as many artists as possible, but physical display space is limited and we may not be able to accommodate all submissions. The Artist Showcase displays a wide variety of work in many sizes, so we encourage artists submitting multiple works to include a variety of sizes, if available.
