If you're curious what it takes to make such a wonderful event like this actually happen, you might be surprised by how fun it is to plan and organize all the components of the Festival.  From selecting bands, curating the art exhibition, sampling the food trucks and making the beverage selections, there are many opportunities to contribute to the Festival's success.  Join the Festival Team

Here is a sampling of the kinds of Festival Zones where you might be a great fit: 

• Team Organizing - Setup team gatherings, provide oversight and support as needed, collaborate with city teams, producers and partners to ensure a well-run event.

• Budget support - Build and maintain festival budget, manage payment tools, keep receipts, coordinate with GVCF funding. 

• Business sponsors - Local business outreach to local organizations and business for sponsorship, grants, tent placements, game running and other creative collaboration 

• Music stages  - Set the direction for the music festival, select bands, musicians or other entertainment, performance schedules 

• Artist Exhibition - Design the exhibition space, artist engagement, curate selections, tent placement and fees

• Community Games & Activities - Collaborate with local organizations and nonprofits to operate fun activities and games for adults or kids, game placement in the park 

• Beer & Wine - Select which beers, wines and other beverages will be sold, review agreements with distributor, sales, pricing, permits

• Food Trucks - Select which food vendors will fill our festival grounds, bookings, placement, agreements and fees

• Graphics & Signs - Help our festival-goers know what's happening and when with high-visibility signs and graphics.  Includes festival branding, social media graphics and sign production 

• Festival day-of volunteers - How many volunteers are needed, signup tool, communications, on-site direction, t-shirts, etc. 

• Marketing - plan for ongoing promotions and communication, web page, keeping festival attendees engaged on social media, sending out info to news outlets, city communications and local community leaders.
